【23年目スタートしました】
22年前の1999年9月22日に「おたるないバックパッカーズホステル杜の樹」はスタートしました。
前世紀の20世紀に始まったわけです。

22 years ago, on September 22, 1999, “The Otaornai Backpackers Hostel MorinoKi” began. It was born in the 20th century.
『おそらくはそれさえも平穏な日々』
思い出話はたくさんありますが、それはいつか話すことがあるかもしれませんが、いろいろなことがありました。
ここ1，2年のこの状況も大変なことではありますが、長い旅をしていれば、最悪と思える日が続くこともあります。
それはいつしか「そういうこともあったね」と思える日が来るのだろうと思っています。
“Maybe it was a peaceful day.”
We have a lot of memories at the MorinoKi. It was good memories and bad memories.
If we travel a long way, the worst days may go on. Just like the last couple of years.
But, I think that one day it will become one of my nostalgic memories.
『会う贅沢』
世の中が変わってきました。旅人のスタイルも変わってきました。
それに伴い、こういう宿も変化しています。
それでも、旅は変わらずあります。旅人もやってきます。
そんな多くの旅人に22年間支えられてきました。
“Meeting someone is Amazing!”
The world is moving. The style of travelers is also changing.
At the same time, the backpackers’ hostels are also changing.
However, the journeys do not disappear, travelers also come here.
This hotel has been supported by so many travellers for 22 years.
『年年歳歳旅宿相似 歳歳年年旅人不同』
「宿を作る」のは簡単です。
でも「宿になる」のは長い時間がかかるのだろうと思っています。
まだまだ、旅の途中。僕が最初に夢見た宿にはまだまだほど遠い道程です。
それでも、毎日ゆっくりと歩き続けます。
旅人が変わっていって、宿も少しずつ変化していっても、その思いやスタイルは変わらないでありたい。
23年目も淡々とダラダラとし飄々としながらも、旅人の旅の思い出の片隅に残るような宿としてあり続けようと思っています。
“This Hostel is the same way every year, but travelers do not remain the same.”
“Making the hostel” is easy.
But, I think it takes a long time to “become the hostel”.
MorinoKi is still a long way from my perfect hostel.
Either way, I will keep on walking slowly toward the objective.
Even if travelers change with the times, I want to be the MorinoKi that does not change its thoughts and styles.
I want to be a hotel that stays on the edge of travellers’ travel memories.
